"In the end, I'm pretty much alone and I have a lot of responsibility. I have to do things right and make quick decisions. Everything is very intense and committed to results. On the other hand, I don't always have anyone to share the concerns that are in my head with, and sometimes they stop me, or put a lot of pressure on me. Here, I can talk for a moment without fear of being judged, or that someone will understand from my words that I can't or am not capable, but really just one simple moment to deliberate out loud, and say in the most honest way what I'm good at and what I'm not. And then think about how to improve it. On a daily basis, it's very difficult to say things like that, there's no forum for that, and it's very mentally taxing."
As a coach who works with managers in organizations, this text almost always comes. Coaching work with managers allows for a moment of pause and reflection. An hour a week of something different from the crazy race. Many organizations, more so in the world and less so in Israel, attach a personal coach to managers to accompany managers. Such a process for the manager creates enormous value in shared learning and reflection, real self-growth from an additional or new perspective, and dealing with everyday managerial difficulties such as how to create the right dialogue with employees, colleagues and management above me, how to effectively engage people, how to identify the hardships in the team, how to optimally operate the team that will provide a good and safe place for its partners, and more…
Executive training justifies the financial investment!
Such a process significantly improves loyalty and engagement with the organization and reduces employee turnover. (From studies reviewed by the ICF, the International Coach Federation). Executive coaching justifies the organization's financial investment in its managers.
Executive coaching, and coaching in general as a process, is results-oriented and action-oriented. It is creating change in clear and targeted steps that create movement and a deep shift in habits and behaviors towards the new desires and habits required to achieve the desired result. Coaching deals with seeing the future and ways to realize it in the current reality. Through the perception of the ability to create change, harnessing others on the path to fulfillment, through resolving conflicts, connecting to the meaning of the manager's actions, the team's, and the organization's entire.
To be in a place that allows one to embark on a new path, to dare, and to observe the challenges facing the manager, a holistic, complete relationship system is required, one that sees the manager as a complete person in the cycles of his life, and is aligned with personal values as an employee and as a person and their integration with the values of the organization.
Executive coaching puts the manager at the center in order to enable him to get the best out of himself, and to focus on his abilities and skills, courage and capabilities.
The ability to create meaningful training that enables movement is a professional skill based on high-level deep listening skills, the ability to discern subtleties and details, understanding the meanings beyond the words of what is said and what is not said, asking deep questions to challenge and move forward. These are some of the tools in the training process that ultimately produce a broader view of reality and discover new possibilities. The power of the process is in creating new habits and connections in the way of thinking that are applied in the long term, rather than solving specific problems that constitute silence in the short term.
Together in executive coaching processes, we create a better reality, which ultimately connects the person to their strength, which is applied in everyday work, and to the organization.
